Our Story
For more than 25 years, Mill Valley LiveArts has been part of the cultural life of our community. Operating as Throckmorton Theatre, the nonprofit stewarded 142 Throckmorton and helped it grow into a home for music, theatre, comedy, youth programs, visual art, and community gatherings.
Today, Mill Valley LiveArts begins a new chapter — building on that history while broadening its focus beyond the walls of the Theatre. Our work centers on bringing community together through the arts, creating opportunities for artists and young people, and expanding access so that more people can participate.
